Alex Evets often finds himself mystified with the circumstances of his daily life. His work—which is often self-deprecating, humorous, or quietly critical—always comes from a place of love and curiosity. Evets currently serves as the Instructional Technician for the 3D Foundations Shop at WashU's Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, supporting students and faculty across the school with a focus on fostering a supportive first-year student experience. Previously, Alex implemented undergraduate recruitment efforts for the College of Art and the College of Architecture at the Sam Fox School, working with students through all stages of the admissions cycle, and served as one of two pre-college program administrators for the Sam Fox School’s Portfolio Plus and Architecture Discovery Programs. In those roles, he effusively and earnestly made the case that St. Louis, Missouri is a wonderful place for artists, designers, and budding architects to achieve their goals.
